Psalm 91:4 Home
Our street address for Reformation at the CrossRoads’ family home is 914. Our family home will be able to support two women and two-part time house mothers. The zoning for our residence is limited to a three-family dwelling. I was skeptical, but the Lord said to take the house in faith. I surveyed the Scriptures for chapter 9:14 in the Bible and couldn’t find anything that satisfied my spirit. The Lord reminded me about Psalm 91:4 in the Passion Translation and I searched it out and It was perfect for our home. The Passion Translation is one of my favorite renderings of the Bible.
The Title of Psalm 91 is “Safe and Secure” and that is our desire for the women at our family home. We want our women sitting as daughters of the One True King in our home. We want them to know that their identity is in their Heavenly Father. We will teach them based on the principles in Karen Anderson’s book, “The One Jesus Loves,” who they are in Christ. They will learn that their confidence and their shelter are in their Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
The Word says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7 ESV). This is how God will rescue them from being hunted by the fiery arrows of Satan and they will come out on top without even a hint of the smell of smoke. The highlighted verse, in Psalm 91, verse four, talks about God’s mercy and how these daughters of the King can always rest in His grace. No matter what they’ve done in the past, they can run under the Father’s mercy seat and be shielded from further danger.
They won’t have to fear a thing, and nightmares can be a thing of the past. Many may fall around them, but they will stand strong in the Lord. Ministering angels will surround them and follow the Word of the Lord. They will savor the Lord as their Father, Brother, and Holy Spirit and They will protect them and they will know their place which is seated in the Heavens near their Brother, Christ Jesus. The Lord hears their cries, and He will answer and rescue them. He will seat them at His banquet table as the honored guests. Their lives will be complete, and they will enjoy the totality of His shalom (nothing missing/nothing broken). (Psalm 91 TPT).
