Have you asked yourself lately, “where do we go from here?” I have and if I try to look too far ahead it scares me. I think about when I was a child and I never thought I would have to wear a mask when I went into a big box or a hardware store. I see many people wearing masks today driving alone in their cars and I think I am in “The Twilight Zone.” I remember playing kick the can until the streetlights went on and I played in the dirt and we got filthy; I was not encouraged to use hand sanitizer or a mask and I lacked in the skill of washing my hands and I was ok. The only thing I remember was being infected with chicken pox and impetigo, and I hated those, but I recovered.
Will we ever go back to the life we had on this earth? We may not, but many of us do not only live in this earthly kingdom, but we live in God’s Kingdom realm. You may ask what is this Kingdom realm you speak of? It is a kingdom where we can hear our Heavenly Father and He hears us. We know what our next move is because we get to know Him so well. He places names, locations, and people into our thoughts and dreams. He gives us visions/dreams to see where He is going and what He wants us to do, and He talks to us through His Word. It says in His Word, “He that has ears to hear, let him hear” (Matthew 11:15).
You may ask, “Where can I get some of these ears?” The Bible says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17). So, let me ask you, “How did you get to know your best friend?” Did you spend vast amounts of time with them? Think about it, you got to know someone when you spent time with them. God gives you His love letter in the Bible. The Old Testament points to His Son, Christ Jesus and the New Testament is all about Christ, the Anointed One with His Anointing. Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior and that He died on the cross and rose again because His Father and your Father loved you so much that He gave His only begotten Son for you (John 3:16) so you could have the Holy Spirit inside of you. When you have the Holy Spirit inside of you – it’s like energy floating from God to you. You will be able to hear Him and the more you spend time with Him, the better you can hear Him through that flowing energy, something like how a laser works.
He lasered my heart and now I have the Kingdom of God living in me. I do not have to ask, “Where do I go from here?” I will always know because of the power of the Holy Spirit that is within me and He is always with me, as I get to know Him better and better. I have faith that He will always be with me and guide me because I am spending quality time with Him and His Word. He is my magnificent mighty Daddy. He loves me and I know He wants the best for me, and He has a great plan for me. As I take one step at a time, He walks along with me and keeps me on His path and under His wings of protection (Ps. 91).
