Helping addicted and wounded women avoid prison and enjoy Christ’s healing.
Anne has ministered to both children and women since she came to know the Lord over 50 years ago. She taught school at both Christian and secular schools and worked as a teacher’s aide while raising her children as a stay-at-home mother.
While attending Word Outreach Center church, Anne headed up the children's ministry, which included busing children off the street for Sunday school classes. What a privilege to see God transforming these young lives!
Anne began her involvement in women's ministry while attending a women's Bible study at Trinity church. At that time a request was made by Good News Jail and Prison ministry to work with women in Douglas County Jail. She began a 10 year season of ministering and teaching the women at the jail. She was able to reach many for the Lord during that time.
She then started working with New Community - a ministry that meets women at the door of the jail and connects them with healthy friendships through fellowship and Bible study.
Anne has been sharing Fresh Start - a process of forgiving those who have hurt and wounded us - so that we can be free.
She shared Fresh Start both in the jail and at New Community, and is now sharing Fresh Start with the women at Reformation at the Crossroads.
