Elder Laura Miller, is the Pastor of Journey CLGI.

Pastor Laura was saved in a house church, Soteria Ministries Church of the Living God in 1990. She worked in the local Mission’s department as a local missionary and as an international missionary in Church of the Living God International.

Pastor Laura answered the call of the ministry in 1994 and was ordained as an Elder and appointed Pastor. She has been faithfully working in the ministry and with the Lord’s direction and with his help has started another work of faith in Omaha area, Journey CLGI.

She retired from UPS after 35 years and is currently working for IPG Shared Services.

 Pastor Laura has a strong background in mental health and is an advocate for Adolescent and Suicide mental health. She has been trained as a Mental Health First Aid advocate, with extensive training in Trauma informed care and Crisis Prevention Intervention. Pastor Laura has worked with all demographics of people in need of help with mental health and addictions.  

Pastor Laura is passionate about her community and making a difference. She has been a CASA Sarpy volunteer, a key volunteer for HFH Sarpy County where she held the office of President of the Board of Directors. She is currently volunteering her time working with women coming out of Human Trafficking and now counts it a privilege of working with Good News Jail and Prison fellowship as the Chaplin Assistant under the direction of Chaplin Ashley Belmudez-Frakes, for Pottawattamie County Jail in Council Bluffs Ia. Where she helps facilitate Love & Logic parenting classes and holds church service twice a month.
