In these uncertain times, I have found that the only One I can find solace in is Jesus. Jesus is the ONLY stable Person/thing I can hold onto. Jesus is my Rock and He can be yours too. You haven’t done anything so horrific that He won’t take you back. I’ve done some awful things and couldn’t repent enough by the standards of some of the pharisaical pastors and leaders of the churches. But it says in His Word, as a believer. . . “If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. Bur if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness” (1 John 1:8-9 NLT). He is just like a huge rock (boulder) which can never be moved.
If you have found Jesus and you have let Him go – run back to Him. He is your ever present help in trouble, your Prince of Peace, your Lover and your Friend. He will help you when you need it most. Turn to Him and give Him your heart, mind, and soul. He is waiting for you. It’s not too late. He is the Lover of your soul. Run towards the Love – not away from Him.
He made you and He will never let you go, even in these uncertain times. He has pursued you and is waiting for you with open arms like in the story of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32). Go ahead and read it again. . . it is such an amazing story. He is nothing like our earthly fathers. Our fathers made many mistakes, but He has not made one mistake. You are not a mistake – He made you. Ponder on that today as you go about your day. Shout it out, “HE MADE ME AND HE DOESN’T MAKE MISTAKES!” HALLELUIAH! PRAISE THE LORD!
